Ethereum is attracting lots of interest. Initially, it was only a group of hardcore crypto believers but that is changing now. One of the indicators of that change is the Ethereum value per transaction which is featured in this chart.
The Ethereum price in dollars per transaction is shown below. The most interesting insight is that the ratio is on a steep rise which implies that the price of Ethereum is now rising relatively faster than the number of transactions.
That is not per se bad, it just highlights the strong bullish forces in Ethereum. It could have been concerning if the price rise was driven by speculation but that is not the case.
The really interesting insight will come once the price of Ethereum stabilizes. If the number of transactions will catch up, the ratio will remain higher than before, and that will be the ultimate proof of increased interest in Ethereum as it will be used more than before the price rise.
The average Ethereum price per transaction now stands at $0.0011. On average, historically, the ethereum price per transaction was $0.0003.
